I decided to do a day in the life vlog to share a bit of my blog life and mama life. I’m also finally starting to share my recipes on YouTube!
Here is the CHILLI RECIPE:
- 2LB Ground Meat
- 3 sliced onions
- 2 diced tomatoes
- 3 TBS Ginger Garlic paste (or grated garlic)
- 1 TSP of Oregano, Italian Seasoning, Basil and Cumin Powder
- 3 Zucchini
- 4 Sweet Peppers
- 2 Sweet Potatoes
- 4 Tomatoes
- 5 Cans of beans
In a sauce pan, heat up a couple tablespoons of olive oil. Add the onions and cook them until they have caramelized to light brown. Now add your garlic and spices. Next goes in the tomatoes. Once it starts to look like a sauce, stir in the ground meat. Cook until it is golden brown.
For the vegetables, heat up a couple tablespoons of oil In a pressure cooker or slow cooker. Add the vegetables one by one and cook until they are about 50% cooked. Then add your cans of beans and season with salt and pepper.
Sauté for a total of 30 minutes and combine the meat into the pot. Fill it to the top with water and slow cook for several hours. The longer the better! I pressure cooked my chilli for one hour.
Top with cheese and enjoy!
