Apple Cider Vinegar Hair Rinse

Product buildup can cause tangles, itchy scalp, dandruff, and stiff hair. I go through hair products like bottles of water. Most products are alkaline based and our hair is healthiest when it’s acidic. Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV) when diluted with water can help balance PH levels and keep it at optimal levels.

DRY HAIR: Mix 2 parts water, 1 part Vinegar, 5-10 drops of essential oil (OPTIONAL, I’m using Tea Tree oil but Rosemary and Lavender are great)

OILY HAIR: Equal parts water and vinegar, 5-10 drops of essential oils (optional)

Shampoo your hair, pour it on, leave it in for a few minutes. You can rinse this treatment out if you are going to be heat styling your hair. For those of you that don’t heat style, you can leave the treatment in your hair. The smell goes away once your hair is dry. I like to rinse mine out.

  • Reduces dandruff, flaking and itchy scalp. Once the PH is balanced fungus and bacteria have a hard time surviving on your scalp.
  • ACV closes the cuticle (outer layer of our hair) leaving you with less frizz, shinier hair and fewer tangles.
  • Encourages hair growth by stimulating circulation and unclogging hair follicles.
  • ACV is packed with nutrients such as vitamin B and C.

Use as needed. I do mine 3x a month.
